Watch the CIAC Class LL Girls Soccer State Championship Game This Weekend on the NFHS Network

The Falcon Sports Network is happy to be apart of State Championship Saturday on the NFHS Network. FSN will have live coverage of the CIAC Class LL Girls Soccer State Championship Game as the 5th seeded Staples Wreckers take on the 7th seeded Ridgefield Tigers at 1pm on Saturday afternoon.

"FSN is very happy to have been selected as the producer of this state championship game" said Aiden Blanc, president of broadcasting operations at the Falcon Sports Network, "We intend to provide the parents, friends, families and viewers of this match with the high quality stream that this teams deserve".

The state championship match is scheduled for 1pm on Saturday at Fairfield Warde High School. FSN's live coverage will get underway at 12:50 with the pregame show, followed by kickoff at 1pm.

Thanksgiving Football Primer: "Battle for Black Rock" to be seen on FSN

The annual "Battle for Black Rock" high school football game between Fairfield Ludlowe and Fairfield Warde is on Thanksgiving morning at 10 AM, LIVE on the Falcon Sports Network. The game will be preceded by FSN Tailgate at 8:30 and a pregame show at 9:45. The annual Thanksgiving Day game will cap off a week long celebration of the Ludlowe-Warde rivalry.

Wednesday, 11/21 -- Our "Battle for Black Rock" preview show drops Wednesday afternoon, less than 24 hours before the big game hits our airwaves the next morning. The show will feature interviews with Ludlowe players, coaches and fans, in depth analysis from the guys calling the game on Thursday and much more!

Thursday, 11/22 (THANKSGIVING MORNING!!) -- Thursday will cap off a week's worth of  Ludlowe-Warde previews as the two teams will finally take to the field at Fairfield Warde HS. Again, FSN Tailgate begins at 8:30 AM and will feature analysis, interviews and more. Our pregame show begins at 9:45 AM, 15 minutes before kickoff and our live game coverage kicks off at 10 AM. All the action will be available for FREE, both live and on demand for your viewing pleasure.

Live Tuesday: Field Hockey, Ludlowe vs Warde

Rivalry week on FSN kicks off with a huge field hockey matchup between Fairfield Ludlowe and Fairfield Warde on Tuesday, October 16th at 7pm at Fairfield Warde High School. Not only will this game have bragging rights on the line, but it will also have big FCIAC and CIAC playoff implications. You can watch our FSN pregame show getting you ready for the game beginning at 6:55 and action kicks off at 7pm. The game will be broadcasted live at nfhsnetwork.com.

Coming into the game, Ludlowe currently holds the 9 seed at 4-4-1-1 with 10 points while Warde currently holds the last playoff spot available at 5-5-1-0 with 11 points. The winner of Tuesday night's game will move up into the 8 spot going into the final week of the regular season.

Warde Week Primer: Watch 5 Games in 6 Days on FSN

It's that time of year again, a chill in the air, leaves turning bright yellow, red and orange, and the best cross town rivalry in the FCIAC, The Battle of Black Rock between your Fairfield Ludlowe Falcons and the Fairfield Warde Mustangs.

This year, you will be able to watch 5 games during "Warde Week" live on the Falcon Sports Network. FSN will have live games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, aired for your viewing pleasure.

Monday, 5:30pm: Boys Soccer - Ludlowe vs Staples
The week will get going with a HUGE boys soccer match up on Monday at 5:30. Ludlowe will host the number 3 team in the FCIAC, the Staples Wreckers. These two teams currently are separated by just 2 points in the FCIAC and this could end up being a tight one. Kickoff at Taft Field is at 5:30 and your FSN pregame show gets going around 5:25.

Tuesday, 6pm: Field Hockey - Ludlowe vs Warde
Our first Ludlowe-Warde game of the week will take place on Tuesday night as Ludlowe field hockey takes on the Warde Mustangs. Ludlowe took home the bragging rights last year on their home turf and Warde will surely be looking for revenge. In addition to all the usual hype, both teams this year are battling for key spots in the FCIAC playoffs. Warde currently holds the 8th seed with 9 points and a record of 4-5-1, and Ludlowe sits just 1 spot back with 8 points at 4-4. A loss in this matchup for either side could end their playoff hopes for the season while a win could end up being the deciding factor for that teams fait in the postseason.

Wednesday, 5:30pm: Boys Soccer - Ludlowe vs Warde
A hump day edition of one of the best boys soccer rivalries in the state will come your way Wednesday night as Ludlowe and Warde will square off in a matchup of two FCIAC playoff bound teams. Both teams are currently right in the heat of the battle, tied for 4th place with the Greenwich Cardinals. This matchup won't make or break any playoff dreams, but the looser may not get ideal seeding come playoff time.

Wednesday, 7pm: Girls Soccer - Ludlowe vs Warde
The second game of our Wednesday night doubleheader features yet another matchup with playoff implications. Ludlowe and Warde will meet in a girls soccer matchup that will likely decide who gets to stay in the playoff hunt. Ludlowe comes in bearing the 9 seed in the standings with 16 points on the year, one spot out of the playoffs. Warde sits just behind the Falcons with 14 points in 10th place. A loss for either team will likely end any hope of making the FCIAC playoffs. The last time these two met, it came down to a penalty kick, will the Falcons soar this year, or will it be mustang red on the female version of the Swedish Cup Trophy?

Friday, 6:30pm: Football - Ludlowe vs Montville
Were headed all the way to Oakdale, CT for Friday Night Football this week. The Cinderella story that is the Fairfield Ludlowe Falcons continues to shock the FCIAC, and will look to shock their first out of conference opponent this week.

Saturday, 11AM: Boys Soccer - Ludlowe vs Norwalk
We end "Warde Week" the same way we started it, boys soccer on the pitch. Ludlowe and Norwalk are two perennial powerhouses in the FCIAC that are battling for top seeding. Norwalk comes in with the 8 seed, the last team in the playoff picture, while Ludlowe comes in a comfortable fourth in the standings. It will be a morning dual in Norwalk that will have very heavy playoff implications.

The Fairfield Ludlowe Falcons will host undefeated St.Josephs on Tuesday, October 9th at 7pm from Taft Field, LIVE on the Falcon Sports Network. You can watch the FSN Pregame show beginning at 6:55, and the game will begin at 7pm. The game will be broadcasted live at nfhsnetwork.com.

Ludlowe comes in having won 2 of their last 3, most recently a victory over Bridgeport Central, 5-0 last Tuesday. St.Joseph comes in as one of three undefeated teams in the FCIAC, currently second in the western division behind 10-0 Ridgefield. If the playoffs started today, Ludlowe would be the 8 seed, St.Joseph would be the 2 seed.

FSN Announces 23-Game Winter Sports Schedule

FAIRFIELD -- The Falcon Sports Network announces it's broadcast schedule for the winter season of 2018/19.

The action will get underway with a Ludlowe - Norwalk girls basketball game between Ludlowe and Norwalk on December 12th at 5:30pm. Noteable games on the schedule for the winter include the girls basketball season opener on December 12th, all four games of the Fairfield Prep Holiday Classic, both varsity games of the Ludlowe - Warde boys/girls basketball series and many more.

The schedule consists of 5 boys basketball games, 11 girls basketball games, 2 boys ice hockey games and 1 boys swim meet.

All games will be aired on Fair TV once they are live streamed at nfhsnetwork.com.

All four games of the Fairfield Prep Holiday Classic will be streamed live, for free, on the FSN Youtube Channel, all other games can be viewed, for a fee, on the NFHS Network. All games will be posted to youtube once they are completed for on demand viewing.

Friday Night Football: Week 5, Ludlowe vs Trinity Catholic

The Fairfield Ludlowe Falcons will host the Trinity Catholic Crusaders on Friday, October 5th at 6pm. You can watch FSN Tailgate and get ready for the big game around 5:15 on the Fairfield Ludlowe High School SPorts Broadcasting Club Facebook page and the game will kickoff at 6pm. The game will be broadcasted live at nfhsnetwork.com.

Ludlowe comes into the game having won 3 of their first 4 games at 3-1 while Trinity Catholic comes in still looking for win 1 at 0-4. Ludlowe defeated Westhill on opening night before a week 2 loss to Trumbull, followed by wins against Norwalk and Brien McMahon. Trinity Catholic dropped games against Danbury, Greenwich, Trumbull and Stamford.

The Fairfield Ludlowe Falcons will host the Darien Blue Wave live on the Falcon Sports Network on Tuesday, October 2nd at 6:30pm. You can watch the FSN pregame show beginning at 6:25 pm, and the game kicking off at 6:30. The game will be broadcasted live at nfhsnetwork.com. 

Ludlowe comes into the game with 6 points in the standings and a record of 3-3-0, tied for 7th place in the FCIAC. Darien, coming off a season in which they won the FCIAC Championship and finished 2nd in the state, comes into the game with 8 points at 4-1-0, tied for 5th in the FCIAC with Norwalk and Ridgefield. These two teams met in the first round of the FCIAC tournament last year, with Darien coming out with a narrow 2-1 victory.

Live Monday: Boys Soccer, Ludlowe vs Trumbull

The Fairfield Ludlowe Falcons will host the Trumbull Eagles live on the Falcon Sports Network on Monday, September 24th at 7pm. You can watch the FSN pregame show beginning at 6:50pm, and the game kicking off at 7. The game will be broadcasted live at nfhsnetwork.com. 

Ludlowe comes into the game 3-1-1 (10 pts.), tied for second place in the FCIAC east with Darien. Trumbull comes into the game leading the FCIAC west with 13 points and a record of 4-0-1. It will be a highly anticipated battle of the number 1 and number 4 teams in the FCIAC Monday night. In the last 3 years, one of these two teams has played for the FCIAC crown and they are both expected to be in the mix again this year.

Weekly Rundown: September 10th

Each school year, the Falcon Sports Network puts on hundreds of live game productions at FLHS and around the state. These productions are fueled entirely by students from Fairfield Ludlowe. Last Friday, FSN produced their first game of the season as Ludlowe football took down Westhill. This week, FSN will begin the other 3 sports that will have their games live streamed on FSN. FSN will produce a "Game/Games of the Week" on the NFHS Network. Each Monday (Sunday if there is a game on Monday), FSN will release via Twitter and the FSN Blog, the schedule for the upcoming game/games of the week.

TUESDAY: GIRLS SOCCER, LUDLOWE @ BRIEN MCMAHON, 6:30PM

FSN will begin the week with the first of two girls soccer games of the week as the Ludlowe girls soccer team will look for a 2-0 start to the season as they travel to Norwalk to take on the Brien McMahon Senators. The team is also up for the Ruden Report Team of the Week, make sure to vote for them at rudenreport.com. Coverage begins at 6:25 with kickoff slated for 6:30.

After starting the season 1-0, Ludlowe football are back on the airwaves as they take on Trumbull in week 2 of the regular season. New Trumbull coach Marce Petroccio looks to get his team their first win of the season after losing in week 1 to Greenwich. As with all football games, FSN Tailgate will air before the game (Time TBD) on the FSN Facebook Page as Aiden Blanc and his partners break down the upcoming game. Kickoff is slated for 7pm with a 6:45 pregame show.

Falcon Sports Network Fall Preview Show to air This Week on Fair TV

FAIRFIELD,CT -- The Falcon Sports Network Fall Sports Preview Show will air during the week of August 27th on Fair TV. Host Aiden Blanc sat down with captains and coaches from the Field Hockey, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer and Football teams as they prepare for their upcoming seasons (NOTE: Due to scheduling conflicts, the girls volleyball team season preview will air before their first broadcasted game on September 17th). Here is how you can watch:

Live: You can watch the show live on Fair TV (Channel 78, https://www.fairfieldct.org/fairtv/education) at a time TBD during the week of August 27th.

On Demand: Once the show has aired on TV once, you will be able to watch the show at any time on the FLHS Broadcasting Club youtube channel (Please note this is the only way to watch the video on demand and it will not be uploaded until the show airs on Fair TV)

FSN and Fair TV Announce New Partnership

FAIRFIELD,CT -- The Falcon Sports Network and Fair TV have reached an agreement to broadcast 31 fall sports games this fall on Fair TV Educational Access (Optimum Channel 78).

All games can be seen on demand on the FLHS Broadcasting Youtube Channel and will be aired on Fair TV. Select games, such as the Thanksgiving football game between Ludlowe and Warde on Thanksgiving morning, can be seen live on Fair TV's airwaves.

"We are excited to announce this partnership with Fair TV so that we can get the equipment and personnel needed to broadcast games live and on demand" said club president Aiden Blanc, "It will bring us lots of good publicity as we head into year 2 of the Falcon Sports Network".

Falcon Sports Network Announces 31-Game Fall Sports Schedule

FAIRFIELD,CT -- The Falcon Sports Network announces it's fall 2018 broadcast schedule, a 31-game combination of Football, Field Hockey, Boys and Girls Soccer and Girls Volleyball at Fairfield Ludlowe High School.

The action gets underway on Thursday, September 6th when the Ludlowe varsity field hockey team hosts Norwalk at Taft Field at 6:30pm. Falcon field hockey will also play Weston, Darien, Fairfield Warde and New Canaan on Fair TV and the Falcon Sports Network.

The schedule features 6 field hockey games, 5 volleyball matches, 5 girls soccer matches, 5 boys soccer matches and all 10 varsity football games, including the Thanksgiving Morning matchup between Ludlowe and Warde.

The Ludlowe volleyball team plays in front of FSN's cameras 5 times, including matches against Brien McMahon, Laurlton Hall, Darien, cross-town rivals Fairfield Warde and an away game in Norwalk against the Bears.

Ludlowe girls soccer will be on the air 5 times during the regular season when they play Brien McMahon, Greenwich, Trinity Catholic, St.Joseph and Fairfield Warde.

Ludlowe boys soccer will go for their 3rd FCIAC title in 5 years and will be on the air for 5 regular season games including a matchup across town against in town rivals Fairfield Warde.

Every varsity football game will be televised by the Falcon Sports Network and will be preceded by a 15 minute pregame show before each game.
